Feather Sage Smudge Sticks

Not your ordinary smudge sticks, these were hand-made especially for us from wild-crafted feather sage grown in the wild desert areas of New Mexico. These smudge sticks, sustainably harvested and tied by Native Americans, measure approximately 8 inches in length. Used ritually for cleansing, purification and releasing negative energies, this sage has a pleasantly sweet aroma.

Mystical Oil Blends

We now carry a selection of rare and unique mystical oils fashioned from magical herbs such as may have been used in the famed flying ointments and other potions of yesteryear. These oils have been specially created for luck, protection, banishment and other ritual usages. Please note that these are potent oil blends, and are not for internal use.

We have a constantly expanding inventory of herbs for a variety of uses, ranging from apothecary to culinary to aromatic. Our selection is steadily growing as new sources are found, with both common and unusual or hard to find herbs on our store's shelves.

Essential Oils

Essential Oils contain the concentrated aromatic compounds from the plants they're obtained from., and aromatherapy uses the healing properties of these oils. Many are thought to have medicinal properties which have been applied since ancient times and are still widely used today. For example, many essential oils have antiseptic properties. Many are also claimed to have an uplifting effect on the mind. Please note that essential oils generally are not for internal use.

Resins

Resins are secreted from many plants, particularly coniferous trees. They are valued for their aromatic and chemical constituents and uses, such as for incense and perfume. The softer odoriferous oleo-resins (such as frankincense) and gum resins containing essential oils (such as myrrh) are widely used for incense and therapeutic purposes. Our resin selection is often used by placing it, either whole or ground into a powder, on a piece of lit charcoal (which we also carry). Please note that these resins are not for internal use.

Smudge Sticks & Sweetgrass Braids

The use of smudge sticks for cleansing and purification is a tradition common to many cultures, including both the Celtic and Native American paths. These smudge sticks are available in the following combinations: Sage (from New Mexico); Sage & Cedar; Sage & Copal; Sage & Lavender; Sage & Sweetgrass; California White Sage; and braided Sweetgrass (not pictured).

Our sage is grown in the high desert climate of remote New Mexico, and is harvested by hand with great love and respect for Mother Earth - with offerings of blue corn left as a 'thank you' to the land. Sustainable agricultural methods are practiced, with no more than 25% of the plant removed so that it will continue to thrive.

Short Mead Kits

If you can boil water you can make mead in 7-14 days with this kit, 2 lbs. of honey & 1 gallon of spring water. Complete instructions are included. Each kit makes 4 bottles (750 mL) of mead.
